Join online with other members of the queer community to discuss the unique challenges met in the caregiving role.

Online through a secure HIPAA-compliant Zoom room

How much & what’s included?

✔️ Free 15-30 minute phone consult

✔️ Two 50 min assessment/intake sessions for $200 total, a $500 value

✔️ $80/group session, all sessions for the month are paid at the beginning of the month 

✔️ Some sliding slots are available for those who can prove financial need

What's covered?

This group will be an online interpersonal process group focused on supporting others who share the identity of a queer caregiver. There is no set schedule of topics or assignments, and while there is room to brainstorm, direct advice is not a priority in the sessions. The focus on the sessions will range from participants taking time to share an experience and feel supported by others, as well as larger group discussions on topics related to the intersectionality of queer folks who are caregivers. 

Some topics can include:

✔️ Complex feelings related to caregiving

✔️ Understanding anger and anxiety

✔️ Exploring the intersection of queer identity & caregiving

✔️ Practicing communicating needs and boundaries

Who’s Included

  • ☑️ If you identify as queer and in the role of a caregiver

  • ☑️ Over the age of 18

  • ☑️ Currently living in California

  • ☑️ Committed to weekly meetings to talk and listen openly

  • ☑️ Able to encourage and support others

  • ☑️ Desire to find ways to be more emotionally present with yourself and your partner(s)

  • ☑️ Ready for change

  • ☑️ LGBTQ+, Poly and Kink-affirming

  • ☑️ Committed to working in an Anti-Racist environment
