“Between stimulus and response there is space.

And that space is your power to choose your response.

And in the response lies your growth and freedom.”

The Work

The work I like to do with clients is grounded in cultural compassion and a value-centered approach to better understanding what challenges or imbalances adversely impact their interpersonal and intra-personal relationships. When we are operating from a place of untruth, our mental and physical systems speak up; sometimes sending misleading messages as to the source of the imbalance that can often lead to a pattern of poor decision making. Sometimes the most benign modeling and messaging that we voluntarily and involuntarily receive from trusted individuals and socio-political systems can leave us exhausted, frustrated and broken, which we often take into our intimate relationships, consciously and subconsciously; hoping for a fix of sorts.

Identifying and addressing such experiences and messaging can foster an informed correction, growth and healing to some degree and help to facilitate the development of healthier and more satisfying relationships. The focus of my work offers me the opportunities to collaborate with individuals and couples who are seeking a greater understanding of how to improve their lives by addressing adverse messaging and modeling and help to empower them to make changes that align with who they want to be in the world.

Together we will explore how and where challenging thoughts and behaviors are born and why they cause imbalance for you. Oftentimes, these imbalances can require subtle shifts in perspective and response, and sometimes they require a great deal more.

Whatever the case may be, I am here to help.
