Our New Clinic

Locally owned sex and relationship therapy center, Rouse Relational Wellness, focuses on trauma-informed care for queer, BIPOC, poly and kinky folks who are grappling with anxiety by offering online and in person therapeutic and educational resources for the public.

SAN FRANCISCO, November 1, 2022—Rouse Relational Wellness, locally owned sex and relationship therapy center, announced today the expansion of their mental health practice to 4124 18th Street, San Francisco.  This move and expansion gives Rouse Relational Wellness the opportunity to provide sex positive, trauma informed mental healthcare to the Castro community and all of California.

Couples therapy in San Francisco is offered at Rouse in addition to individual, sex therapy, and group therapy. At Rouse, we believe in honoring, validating, and de-shaming the beautiful parts of life that bring us joy. Since our founding in 2021, we have offered stigma-free support that encourages everyone, but especially those in the margins, to shame less and love more.

Our clinical and educational work in the Bay Area community focuses on:

  • Anxiety

  • BIPOC and first-gen communities

  • Polyamorous/NonMonogamous folks

  • Kinky and LGBTQIA+ folks

  • Gender-affirming therapy

  • Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence

  • Religious trauma

  • Masculinity

  • Queer men in the margins

Rouse Relational Wellness’ expansion to the Castro provides a dedicated, sex-positive place for healing for those in the margins in San Francisco, as well as couples and individuals looking for holistic sex therapy. We aim to make sexual and mental wellness as accessible as possible through individual and couples therapy, group therapy, and workshops.

Sexual wellness at Rouse workshops provides a sex-positive educational hub where couples and clinicians alike can expand their knowledge on sexual wellness and sex-positive care.

In addition to prioritizing mental health care access for those in the margins, Rouse Relational Wellness is partnering with organizations like Lief Technologies to incorporate their wearable biofeedback device in couples therapy sessions, as well as pelvic floor physical therapists and reproductive health providers like Tia, the Modern Medical Home for Women.

“At Rouse we aim to create a solid community of sex-positive and trauma-informed providers for those who deserve support around sex and relationships. Our clinicians continue their training in sex and relationship therapy to address multiple concerns with up-to-date approaches. With our growing team of providers we can offer various areas of expertise within sex and relationships,” says Founder David Khalili, LMFT.

With this expansion and collaboration, Rouse Relational Wellness is further able to support mental and sexual wellness in San Francisco and beyond.
